What we collect

When a customer uses an Occasionly-powered widget, we collect their name, email address, and the names and dates of occasions they choose to save. We collect this information solely to send reminder emails on behalf of the merchant whose store the widget belongs to. When our Shopify app is installed on a store, we receive order data via Shopify's webhook API. We use order email addresses to determine whether a reminder we sent contributed to a sale. We do not store full order contents, payment details, or shipping addresses.

How we use it

We use collected data only to send scheduled reminder emails and to provide merchants with attribution reporting inside their Occasionly dashboard. We do not sell, share, or transfer personal data to any third party for marketing or advertising purposes.

Data retention

Customer occasion data is retained for as long as the merchant's account is active. Merchants may request deletion of their data and all associated customer records by contacting us.
